Marc “The Reverend” Hebert (or just Rev.)
1978 – 2003
An avid Experimental Stage go’er from 1997 – 98. Marc was a genuine performer with a quick wit and a passion for theater and philosophy.
Prof. James Nee
1936 – 2018
English Professor at SMU / UMass Dartmouth 1971 – 2015. He was Academic Advisor to the Experimental Stage 1991 – 1994.
Derek Breen
1970 – 2018
Derek took over the Experimental Stage in 1993 and worked to make it a recognized Student Run organization. His energy was infectious and he inspired everyone to be creative.
Marc Lalosh
1975 – 2019
As an Experimental Stage attendee Marc got the organization to sponsor the first Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1994. He then went on to found 20 Cent Fiction which still haunts the halls of UMD to this day.
George Rodriques, Jr.
1963 – 2022
George was a staple at UMass Dartmouth. He was the resident photographer and took pictures of all the events around campus, including the Experimental Stage.
This was a hard page to make. It’s always sad to see a friend’s name in a memorial. Please comment if you know of a Stage Goer who’s taken their final bow 😢 . Help us keep their memory alive.
